Portland’s Rose City Comics commissioned Green Tangerine Media to produce a motion graphics teaser trailer DVD and website for their comic “Jimmy & Vamp”. Working with illustrations provided by a local artist, Green Tangerine Media recorded voiceovers for the script in one take (thanks to the talents of Rose City Comics owner Eric Holmes and his wife Haley) and worked to put the trailer together based on Eric’s script. We’ll leave the plot of the comic to the trailer itself (see below).

From cakes to cupcakes to cookies and favors, the Sugar Rush gallery is quite a sight to behold, featuring some of the most impressive looking treats we’ve ever seen. Sugar Rush owner Vanessa “Ness” Anderson needed a simple and easy to use website that she could manage herself to add new images, change pricing, etc. – We integrated a smart gallery feature into Wordpress and let her images and cake designs do most of the work, she can also add sub-galleries and change her web copy and events whenever she needs to.

Vitis Ridge has been producing hand-crafted wines from the East Willamette Valley for more than 15 years. For their new website, Vitis Ridge approached Green Tangerine Media to create a website that would not only showcase their fantastic variety of wines but also allow them to sell wines online, maintain their own news and event calendars, and perform their own general website maintenance. The new Vitis Ridge website was launched Monday October 20th, wine sales will be available online at the site starting January 1st, 2009.

Corvallis Outdoor School offers 6th grade students a watershed education curriculum designed to teach students about their watershed environment and its history.

“During a time when the natural world is undergoing significant change with shifting dynamics, creating “citizen scientists” as informed individuals who can assess current conditions and impacts is more important than ever before. As we celebrate the 150th anniversary of Oregon becoming a state, and look ahead to where we want Oregon to be in the next 50 years, 6th grade students and their teachers will be immersed in a watershed curriculum that is taught utilizing the environment around them. Immersion in the Corvallis Outdoor School includes the use of current scientific practices and an historical perspective on the environment, and how it has changed over time.”

A collaborative effort between Green Tangerine Media and Oregon Trout, the Corvallis Outdoor School website is built entirely around an advanced, yet easy to use, content management system to facilitate effortless edits to content by Corvallis Outdoor School faculty members, all without any knowledge of HTML.

Corvallis Outdoor School is the sixth website Green Tangerine Media has constructed for Oregon Trout.

October is unofficially “winery month” here at Green Tangerine Media as we’re scheduled to launch no fewer than three websites for Oregon Winemakers. First up is Christopher Bridge Wines, located in Oregon City, at www.christopherbridgewines.com. Since 2001 Christopher Bridge Wines has been producing a wide variety of quality Oregon wine, including favorites such as Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris.  Green Tangerine Media built the entire website around a robust but uncomplicated content management system with full e-commerce capability to facilitate online sales.
